QSS-3501

QSS-3502

Overview
A compact and convenient minilab system that can be operated standing up or sitting in a high chair.
Features
Compact design
The miniscule footprint of approximately 1 square meter makes for easy installation.
Flexible layout
The QSS-3501/3502 can be operated standing up or sitting on a highchair. You can add up to 4 optional extension tables (shelves) in various positions as needed, and you can choose which side to operate the machine from, giving you more freedom to use the system in a way that best fits your available floor space.

High Quality Laser Engine
Noritsu’s high quality 300dpi laser engine produces vivid prints with accurate portrayal of even minute details.
A selection of film scanners
You have a choice of two film scanners, both of which employ an LED light source for superior performance and longevity. The S-4 supports a wide variety of film including 120, and the S1-II supports only 135 and IX240 film. You can also choose not to add a scanner, and instead use the QSS-3501/3502 as a stand-alone printer.

AccuSmart™
AccuSmart™, which is Noritsu’s state-of-the-art comprehensive image processing technology, enables you to easily portray the natural beauty of the scene as viewed by the photographer when the picture is taken. AccuSmart™ produces optimal results by faithfully portraying the original scene with automatic image processing, and also allowing fine adjustments to be applied as desired by the customers.
New “Easy Operation” GUI for the order menu
This new GUI displays the print channels in icons which are organized into tabs. This enables even part-time employees and beginners to select the right channel and make beautiful prints right away. If you prefer the original QSS GUI, you can disable the Easy Operation GUI and switch back and forth between the two GUIs anytime.

Rapid Processing
When purchasing a QSS-35 minilab you can specify a rapid processing system which uses specified chemicals to achieve a reduced processing time, opening the door for an on-the-spot print service where the customers can drop off their media and pick up their prints a single visit.

Note: Only specified chemicals and paper can be used.

Can be converted into a one pass system (Optional attachment units required)
The film processor (QSF-T15) and the scanner (S1-II) can be combined into a single unit enabling the film to be automatically fed into the scanner as it comes out of the processor. This all-in-one configuration automates the entire process from 135 film development to printing, enabling unattended operation.

Note: One pass processing is only possible with 135 film.

Order Controller (Standard)
The Order Controller, which is a standard feature with QSS-35 series minilabs, enhances the print efficiency by managing all orders input with the QSS and networked terminals. It enables you to set the print priority level of each order, freely move orders up and down in the order queue screen, and interrupt an order being printed to give preference to a separate order that needs to be printed right away.

Prints up to 610mm (24 inches) long
The maximum paper advance length for the QSS-3501/3502 is 610mm (standard), making it possible to provide a wide variety of print services. The maximum print size is 210 x 610mm.

Connectivity
The QSS-3501/3502 can be networked to lab computers, equipment and software to enhance the workflow and provide more digital services. Below is a list of some of the digital services that can be provided and the options that make these services possible.
Digital Prints The CT-SL is a self-service customer terminal that can be connected to the QSS-3501/3502 to provide an efficient way of taking orders from digital media. Requires minimal investment and minimal space.
Media Writing Noritsu provides multiple options for CD-R writing. In addition to writing with the internal drive, it is also possible to connect to a Primera CD-R writer to enable automatic writing and thumbnail image printing on the face of the CD.
DVD writing is also possible with the Multi DVD Drive.
Picture Pouch
is a unique writing service that lets your customers view their images on TV as well as on their computers.
Image Storage The CAU (Compact Archive Unit) is an internal archive unit that enables quick and easy reprints without rescanning. Excellent print quality due to the fact that the image data is not compressed. (The CAU is a standard feature with QSS-35 series minilabs!)
Additional Value Prints The QSS Printer Driver is software that enables you to expand your printing possibilities by making silver halide prints from application software. Compatible with both Windows and Macintosh.
Template Creation Software provides an array of template designs that can be combined with images to increase the value of your customers’ photos.
Image Editing / Network Prints You can install QSS-Kids software in computers networked to a QSS-3501/3502, and from these computers perform the same operations, in the same way, as those that are performed with this minilab. While viewing the QSS graphic user interface on the networked computer, you can accept media inputs, and perform media writing, image editing, etc.
